Little Inspirations donates an Asthma Awareness Bracelet to the Wake County Asthma Fair each year to help raise support and awareness for the Wake County Asthma Coalition and Wake Med Hospitals here in Raleigh, NC.  Since my family has a history of Asthma I believe it is especially important to spread Awareness and help people learn how they can live healthier lives by managing their Asthma and Allergies!  Management of allergies and asthma can make life easier, and improve quality of life for those who suffer from them.

Wake County Asthma Coalition's Mission:

• To increase public awareness of asthma, its prevalence, and related health issues in Wake County
• To provide education about asthma and related health issues, and
• To support and empower the citizens of Wake County in identifying measures for change to improve conditions related to asthma health in local communities throughout Wake County, as needed.

Wake County Asthma Fair

Wake County holds an Asthma Fair yearly around the end of April, at the Wake Med Andrews Conference Center!   This is a special event where the public can connect with our local asthma community in North Carolina for education and awareness about Asthma.  They typically hold a raffle and have free give aways throughout the event.  If you live in Raleigh, stop by sometime and check it out!   And if you do, come find my display!
